KAIZEN


Again ask yourself some small questions about how you can get started.

1. What will the challenge involve? I want to run a 10K.

2. Why so I want to do it? For the physical and mental challenge.

3. What is a very small thing I can do to get started? Downloading a running app to my phone and try out a first run.

4. What would long term success look like? Completing the challenge and raising lots of money for charity. (PAGE 27 LINE 1)

Start a blog. Try to write an entry every day, even if it is just something very short. It can be for your personal consumption or a way to connect with friends or people who have similar interest. (PAGE 158 LINE 33)

Start learning a language online. And one of the great benefits of all the technology that we now have access to is that it has made it very cheap and accessible to do so. There are lots of language learning apps that you can download onto your phone or online courses that you can take. (PAGE 160 LINE 1)

Try spending 5 minutes of your day drawing somebody - whether that is your husband or a stranger - and see how you feel afterwards. (PAGE 163 LINE 15)

Connecting with others and sharing advice will also allow you to reflect on what you have achieved and perhaps give you fresh inspiration for new ways in which you can change. (PAGE 178 LINE 4)
